Invitation to Non-Profit Organizations

Dear friends and colleagues:

On behalf of the National Asian American Coalition and in partnership with the Federal Trade Commission, I would like to invite you to participate in a training and roundtable discussion with FTC senior officials from their national DC office to discuss numerous areas of interest that affect our communities.

Topics include:

· Fraud Affecting Immigrant Communities
· Debt Collection
· Job Scams and Business Opportunity Fraud
· Mortgage and Foreclosure Fraud
· Internet Fraud
· Identity Theft Training
· Training will be provided on how to report these fraudulent activities and work with FTC’s local regional office to combat unfair or fraudulent practices.

This workshop/roundtable discussion will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the National Asian American Coalition’s San Diego office located at 9580 Black Mountain Road, Suite A from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.
